The logistics real estate market is continuing to experience one of its best periods in Madrid and Barcelona, according to data from the consulting firm BNP Paribas Real Estate.
Prospects for the rest of the year look promising in both cities. In Madrid, the high demand and the large number of operations that are currently in the negotiation phase, some of a sizeable volume, mean that the forecasts made at the end of 2021 will likely be outperformed this year. In fact, demand for the financial year 2022 is expected to exceed 1,300,000 m2, a figure that would set a new record in the historical series.
