The expansion of the Israeli chain Leonardo Hotels across Spain continues. During 2022, the firm added a total of 1,380 rooms and 8 hotels to its national offer, consolidating its activity in Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao. All of this made 2022 its best year, say sources at the company.
In this way, Leonardo Hotels has highlighted that in 2022, it not only registered a record result in terms of booking volumes after the pandemic, but it also made «a great qualitative leap» with the purchase of eight coastal hotels located in Málaga, Mallorca and Ibiza. The purchase operation was valued at 165 million euros and represented one of the deals of the year in the hotel segment.
