IWG opened seven new coworking spaces in Spain over the past year to complement the 53 existing centres it operates across 16 cities and in response to the growing demand from hybrid workers, as reported by the provider of office and flexible work spaces.
Specifically, in 2022, IWG opened offices in locations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Logroño and Oviedo, including the largest IWG coworking space nationwide, Spaces Las Cortes, which spans 7,000 square metres and is located in the Miraflores Palace in Madrid; it has capacity for 800 people.
