Retail news in the heart of Madrid. The textile group Inditex has finalised an important commercial lease in the Edificio España, located at the end of one of the capital’s most famous thoroughfares: Gran Vía.
The operation, which Aretail has advised, involves the creation of the first two post-pandemic flagship stores. On the one hand, Zara will open an almost 8,000-m2 store, one of its largest globally. The new store will offer Zara’s women’s, men’s and children’s collections and its new Zara Beauty cosmetics section, as well as the Zara Home collection.
Stradivarius will also open a store with a surface area of more than 1,200 square metres.
These two 20-year contracts will entail the lease of more than 64% of the retail space of the asset located at Gran Vía 84.
