The Mexican Díaz Estrada family has taken a step closer to opening its luxury hotel. Hyatt is going to operate the Hotel Thompson Madrid, its new project next to Puerta del Sol, through its new Thompson Hotel brand.
According to a statement issued by the operator, the property will open next April and will have 175 rooms, of which 23 will be suites. In total, the building will span more than 20,000 square metres, including a two-story penthouse with panoramic views.
