The number of house sales recorded in the property registers in November 2022 was 55,132, which represents an increase of 10.8% compared to the penultimate month of the previous year, as reported by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) on Friday.
Specifically, 92.2% of the homes sold in November 2022 were private properties (+11.7% in annual terms) and 7.8% were protected (+0.5%). In addition, 18% of the homes sold were new (-3%) and 82% were second hand (+14.3%).
