
House sales registered in the Property Registry fell by 12.7% in interannual terms in August, but recorded «the best figure since March», when the outbreak of the pandemic caused house sales to begin to fall, according to the real estate registry statistics compiled by the College of Registrars .
This fall is much more moderate than the ones seen in July when there were year-on-year declines of 22.8% for purchases and of 20.1% for the constitution of mortgages.
