House sales rose by 6.1% year-on-year in 2022 to 719,680 units, the highest figure for 15 years. In addition, the average price per square metre reached 1,615 euros, representing an increase of 7.2%, as reported by the General Council of Notaries on Tuesday.
«The recovery of activity and real estate prices continued to be dynamic in 2022, although at lower rates than in 2021, influenced by the anomalous performance in 2020 due to the impact of the Covid-19 health and economic crisis», say sources at the association of notaries.
