House sales continue to grow in Spain. The data for March 2022 with respect to March last year, reveals a 15.5% increase in sales and purchases, an 8.9% rise in the granting of mortgage loans for home purchases and a 4.6% decrease in the constitution of new companies.
Sales and prices grow
The number of house sales increased by 15.5% year on year nationwide in March, to reach 70,812 units, and the average price per square meter stood at €1,583/m2, representing a rise of 9.2% year on year.
