
In July, 48,586 homes were sold, which represents a year-on-year decrease of 5%, according to statistics published on Thursday by the General Council of Notaries.
By type of home, the sale of flats showed a year-on-year reduction of 12%, driven exclusively by a decrease in the sale of second-hand flats, which registered an interannual fall of 17.4%. By contrast, the sale of new apartments increased by 43.6% year-on-year. Meanwhile, the sale of single-family homes increased by 20.7% compared to the same month in 2019.
