According to the latest data from the College of Registrars, 47,500 homes were purchased by foreigners in Spain in 2020, compared to 63,000 in 2019.
«The year began with an unprecedented health crisis, which had significant economic consequences, with the corresponding effects on the real estate market,» said the registrars in their Report on the housing market during the year of a pandemic, which was released by the professional group on Thursday.
