The Grifols family has acquired the Hotel Hesperia Presidente in Barcelona. The establishment, which is managed by Hesperia and is located on Avenida Diagonal and Calle Muntaner, is valued at around 125 million euros, according to Expansión.
A Catalan family owns the Hotel Hesperia Presidente, and the Grifols family has taken it over through one of its vehicles.
This is not the first time an attempt has been made to sell the asset; the owners put it up for sale in 2017 with a starting price of 80 million, but no deal was reached. A few months ago, the process was resumed again. The asset attracted the interest of several Spanish and international real estate funds.
