A high-profile deal has been closed in the Barcelona real estate retail market during the final stretch of the year. Generali Real Estate has bought the building at number 40 Portal del Ángel for around 105 million euros, according to sources from the real estate sector speaking to Europa Press.
The asset is a historic building that has been owned by Portal Retail Venture, a subsidiary of MedCap Real Estate, since 2016. MedCap is the company that channels the real estate activities of the De Andrés Puyol family; its CEO is Dimas de Andrés Puyol.
