Over the next two years, funds and insurers are expected to invest a total of 4.2 billion euros in the office market in Spain. According to the professional services firm EY, in its report “The Office Property Telescope”, 3.6 billion euros will be invested during 2022 alone.
«We have a stable regulatory framework, good taxation and public-private collaboration that attracts investment,» said the Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, during the presentation of the report. Meanwhile, Colonial’s Director of Investments, José Manuel Ortega, highlighted the quality of the office products. «In Madrid and Barcelona, the supply is of a higher quality than elsewhere in Europe.»
