Fewer transactions, at higher prices. The General Council of Notaries has published its latest results regarding the living segment in Spain, including a comparison between the figures for house sales and mortgage lending. Between November 2021 and November 2022, house sales decreased by 8.2% and mortgage lending fell by 8.5%.
Specifically, in November 2022, house sales decreased by 8.2% year-on-year, with a total of 58,942 units sold, at an average price per square metre of €1,570/m², up by 1.2% in inter-annual terms.
