The holiday resort town is changing hands. Funds owned by Farallon have acquired the famous hotels, located in Oropesa del Mar (Castellón). At the end of 2020, the American manager took control of the company founded by Jesús Ger in 1983 by taking on most of its bank debt, which amounted to around 125 million euros.
Now, according to the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry (Borme), Gestió Cartera Castelló, which is owned by Jesús Ger, no longer owns Marina d’Or, and Farallon has become the new owner and sole administrator, through a lawyer from Madrid.
