According to a report prepared by the professional services firm EY, 504,000 new homes will be built in Spain over the next 4 years, 5.4% of which will be used for rent through the build-to-rent format.
Who is behind these projects? Whilst their development is linked to property developers, mainly the large companies in the sector, such as in the case of other new build construction projects, the capital has a very diverse, and above all, international focus.
