With guaranteed tenants (Mercadona, Amazon, Dia, Zalando) and a booming volume of activity, funds and companies have taken positions in the logistics market in Spain, which has become one of the safe-haven sectors in the face of the pandemic crisis.
Between January and September, 651 million euros were invested in the logistics sector, according to data from the consultancy CBRE, but “the reactivation of the sector will be reflected in an investment volume of more than 1 billion euros by the end of the year” says Alberto Larrazábal, National Director of Industrial & Logistics at the consultancy.
