During the third quarter of 2020, Madrid capital continued to lead the national ranking of residential rental prices. Specifically, the average rental price for Spain as a whole stood at 10.2 euros per square metre per month compared to €15.1/m2/month in the municipality of Madrid.
In terms of monthly rental prices, the national average reached 1,005 euros, whilst in the Spanish capital, it amounted to 1,301 euros, according to data collected by the real estate big data platform Brains RE.
