During the third quarter of 2022, the average price of new-build housing in Spain stood at 2,635 euros per square metre, which represents an increase of 8.9% over the last twelve months and a 1.6% quarter-on-quarter rise. Meanwhile, the average ticket for a home for sale amounted to 315,232 euros, according to recently updated data on the Brainsre platform.
In Spain, 85% of the supply on the residential market is for sale, with the rental market accounting for just 15% of the total. On the other hand, the supply of flats represents 65.4% of the total, with the remaining 34.6% corresponding to single-family properties.
