
Berkshire Hathaway Insurance, the insurance company owned by the magnate Warren Buffet, is moving its headquarters from Barcelona to Madrid. This decision comes a year and a half after the firm made its debut in Spain and in the run-up to the country’s regional elections.
The new location of the American conglomerate will be the Azca financial district on Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana. As such, Berkshire Hathaway is vacating its offices on Travessera de Gracia in Barcelona, as the El Economista newspaper has verified in the Mercantile Registry.
