The socimi Vivenio is announcing new investments. Its latest plan includes allocating €800 million to expand its rental housing portfolio, according to its directors in an interview with ElEconomista.
This growth in the portfolio will be carried out through a capital increase. “With the capital increase, we are going to have an investment capacity of around €400 million in equity, which with a debt level of 45% could put us very close to €800 million investment. The objective is to invest [the funds] as soon as possible,” explains Jorge Sáinz de la Cuesta, director of Vivenio.
They estimate that they will be able to buy between 2,500 and 3,000 new units. Mr Cuesta added that, in recent times, the firm has been opting for prime properties, which increases its initial outlays.
After the whole process, the listed company will be worth between 2.3 and 2.4 billion euros.
