The Belgian group VGP, which specialises in the promotion, rental and sale of logistics parks, has submitted the highest bid in the liquidation process of the former La Naval shipyard, located in Sestao (Vizcaya).
Specifically, the company, which is based in Brussels, has offered more than 30 million euros to acquire the main lot, which includes land, buildings and machinery, according to market sources. In total, it will take ownership of 280,000 square metres of land on the site of the former shipyard.
