The data confirms the consolidation of this product in investors’ real estate portfolios, positioning itself as the fourth sector by investment volume in 2019 and accounting for 14% of the €12.13 billion invested in the Spanish real estate sector as a whole last year. Prologis stands out as the most active player, accounting for 29% of the logistics volume invested in Spain during 2019.
Investors from the United Kingdom also increased in prominence in the market, to account for 24% of total investment, and relegating Spanish investors to third place with 13% of the total last year, down from 32% in 2018.
