Urbas Finalises Acquisition of the Construction Company Ecisa, Brings Al Alfia Fund Into the Company’s Capital

The publicly traded developer Urbas has also acquired Construcciones Urrutia, Nalmar Real Estate and two plots of land in Alicante.

Urbas Grupo Financiero announced Tuesday its acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Ecisa Compañía General de Construcciones.

In a statement sent to the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the developer stated that it had acquired 100% of the Alicante construction company Ecisa on March 14, which had been owned by the Qatari fund Al Alfia Holding. The agreement had initially been for just 51% of the company.

Ecisa, with more than 50 years of experience in the construction sector, is a leading company in high-rise construction. With a construction portfolio of more than 125 million euros, the Alicante-based company is currently executing residential, singular and public works projects, mainly in the regions of Madrid and Valencia.
