Urban Land Prices Fall by 15% to Historical Lows

In the second quarter of the year, the average land price stood at 139.6 euros per square metre, down by 15.2% compared to 2019. In this way, it has fallen to the lowest level in the historical series.

The average price of land in the second quarter of the year stood at 139.6 euros per square metre, down by 15.2% compared to the same period last year and 14.9% less than in the first quarter of the year, according to data from the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda.

In this way, the price has fallen to its lowest level in the historical series, which began in 2004. This may result in a decrease in the price of housing, as happened in the previous crisis.
