
In November, the price per square metre of housing fell by 5.7% in interannual terms, to reach an average of 1,362 euros. In total, 48,251 house sales were recorded, which represented a decrease of 0.9% compared to the same month in 2019, according to data from the General Council of Notaries.
Specifically, the overall decrease in the price per square metre of housing was due to a 5.4% drop in the unit price of flats. Meanwhile, single-family homes became more expensive, by 0.2%, in year-on-year terms; and the price per square metre of private (freely priced) flats fell by 5.5%.
