The Turnover of the Large Real Estate Companies Grows by 19% to €11.7 Billion

The rate of growth last year was lower than that registered in 2018 (19%), according to a study published by Informa's DBK Sector Observatory.

According to the DBK Sector Observatory from INFORMA (a subsidiary of CESCE), the aggregate turnover of the forty largest real estate companies amounted to 11.73 billion euros in 2019, up by 8.9% compared to 2018, when revenues increased by 18.9%.

In this way, the real estate market saw a slowdown in its growth rate, revealing the first signs that the upward economic cycle was coming to an end. This was especially true in the residential sector, whose indicators were already affected by a loss of strength in household consumption last year.
