The TSJM Admits for Processing the Appeal Filed by Various Associations Against Madrid Nuevo Norte

Ecologists in Action and Fravm have complained that the project allocates only 20% of the 10,500 planned flats to public housing, whereas the regulations establish that a minimum of 30% must be assigned.

The Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM) has admitted for processing the contentious-administrative appeal filed by Ecologists in Action and the Regional Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Madrid (Fravm) against the Madrid Nuevo Norte project.

Following the allegations filed by the parties involved, a process has been opened whereby the Court will determine whether the urban macro-project complies with the regulations or is null and void, as claimed by the organisations, according to ABC.
