• Zurich sells three office buildings in the centre of Barcelona. The Swiss insurer has sold a portfolio of offices in Barcelona made up of three buildings spanning a total area of 12,000 square metres. Two of the assets, those located on Vía Augusta 18 and Vía Layetana 2, have been purchased by the fund manager Propreal. The third, located on Calle Estruc, has been acquired by a private investor.
• Barcelona and Conren Tramway are going to transform the Tres Chimineas complex in the Catalan capital into offices. The company, which already owns the two empty buildings in the area, has reached an agreement with Barcelona City Council to allow it to set up offices in the emblematic space, located on Avenida del Paralelo. As a result of the agreement, the Tres Chimineas complex will be endowed with new uses, more facilities and more green areas, tripling its value.
