The Madrid and Barcelona tenants’ union has called for a rental strike across the country from 1 April, through the ‘SuspensiónAlquilerYA’ campaign, following their perceived “abandonment” by the Government.
The union has taken the decision after receiving 8,000 emails from people warning that they will not be able to afford April’s monthly payment, according to Europa Press.
