The public company Barcelona Sagrera Alta Velocitat, owned by the State, the Catalan Generalitat and Barcelona City Council, has put a plot of land spanning 3,790 square metres up for auction for 12 million euros, according to the Official State Gazette (BOE).
Specifically, the plot is located at number 32 Calle Gran de la Sagrera in the city of Barcelona and has a starting price of 11 million euros. To this amount, any buyer must add the Value Added Tax (VAT) and a charge of 3.8 million euros for the urbanisation work, which must be paid for by the successful bidder. As such, the operation will have a total minimum cost of 17.1 million euros.
