Travel disruption due to the pandemic have prevented venture capital funds from leaving the City of London and that is having a serious impact on certain businesses. For example, the sale of toxic assets by financial institutions is suffering from a standstill not seen since the previous crisis.
Venture capital funds typically have great liquidity to buy properties and bad loans at low prices to then make them profitable. However, hardly any operations have been closed this year.
