A major transaction has been closed in the hotel segment of the Spanish capital: RHL Properties has sold the Rosewood Villa Magna and the Bless Hotel Madrid to Sancus. With the acquisition of these two trophy assets, Sancus Hotels has made its debut in Spain with the aim of demonstrating its commitment to luxury tourism. The amount of the operation has not been disclosed to date.
RHL Properties is listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange and is dedicated to the purchase, development and management of luxury and extra-luxury hotels and residential assets. Meanwhile, Sancus Hotels is a vehicle owned by the Sancus Capital Partners group, created by Borja Escalada together with a small group of investors, which specialises in investing in and managing high-end hotels.
