In its annual accounts, Adevinta, the owner of the portals Fotocasa, habitaclia, InfoJobs, autos.net, motos.net, Milanuncios and vibbo, reported a 7% drop in sales between October and December 2020, due to the impact of the increase in restrictions during the second wave of the pandemic.
Sales resisted mainly in the auto and real estate sectors. Even so, the firm generated revenues of 43.4 million euros during that period, slightly up on the 41.9 million euros recorded in the third quarter. “But the lockdown decreed during the first state of emergency caused the traffic on its various verticals and, therefore, investment in advertising, to reduce considerably”, said the firm in a statement.
