The Norwegian group Fredensborg, which owns 50% of the tourism chain Servatur, is analysing new investment opportunities in the Spanish market. The group has engaged Alantra to invest 500 million euros in hotels in Spain, according to financial sources speaking to elEconomista.
In this way, the company is planning to expand its portfolio of hotel assets, whereby taking advantage of the recapitalisation needs and drop in prices in the sector as a result of the Covid crisis.
