The Ministry of Defence has resumed the public auction procedure that it launched earlier in the year, but which was interrupted when the State of Emergency was decreed. In fact, in February, the Ministry of Defence announced the auction of 37 commercial premises in different parts of Spain, worth up to 5.4 million euros in total.

In parallel, the Institute of Housing, Infrastructure and Equipment (Invied), an agency that forms part of the Ministry of Defence, launched a process earlier this month involving commercial premises and various real estate properties distributed throughout Spain, through which the Ministry led by Margarita Robles hopes to raise up to 19 million euros. Some of the assets, such as the one located in Vejer de la Frontera (Cádiz), have now been included in the new auction.
