The student hall of residence market is continuing to record positive data. During the year to date, the total investment volume has almost tripled compared to the figures for 2021 as a whole, when investment amounted to 454 million euros.
The purchase of RESA, the largest platform for student residences in Spain, by the PGGM fund, and the acquisition by Patrizia of two assets in Barcelona over the summer, have boosted the investment volume up to 1.2 billion euros so far in 2022, according to data from the consulting firm Savills.
