The Spanish logistics market has corroborated with data the feeling that has been growing in the real estate sector in recent months: the segment is experiencing a record year and, according to data from CBRE, investment during the first nine months of the year amounted to 2.1 billion euros. Meanwhile, the volume of space leased reached two million square metres.
These are the highest figures recorded to date and represent an improvement of 24% compared to 2021. “We expect to exceed the record volume registered last year, even without an operation as significant as the purchase of Montepino”, said Alberto Larrazábal, from the consultancy.
