The outbreak of the coronavirus, the months of lockdown and the social distancing measures introduced to prevent the uncontrolled spread of the pandemic have led to a collapse in the leasing of coworking spaces this year.
According to a report by the real estate consultancy JLL, the rental of flexible office space fell to 7,862 square metres during the first half of 2020, down by 91% compared to the same period last year.
