The owners of the Hotel Wellington and those of the adjoining building comprising luxury homes – on Calle Núñez de Balboa, 3 in Madrid – are in the midst of a legal battle that is threatening the future of the hotel’s spa and parking facilities, according to La Información.
The litigation began in 2016 and, so far, the hotel chain has emerged victorious from all of the legal disputes. For this reason, Proyectos e Inversiones Binah – the owner of the property that borders the Wellington- has put the building on the market. But, the Venezuelan investment group claims that it is now having trouble selling the homes as they do not have any parking spaces – since they are all occupied by the Wellington.
