The family office owned by the Catalan pharmaceutical company Grifols has acquired a store on Avenida Diagonal, 445 in Barcelona. The operation has been signed at the same time as the rental of the establishment, which has been agreed with Ikea. The Swedish firm will open its first urban store there in the Catalan capital, according to Idealista News.
The new Ikea establishment, which plans to open its doors at the end of 2021, will offer fully personalised advice, in this case, for the design of modular kitchens and wardrobes. It will contain spaces for displays and assisted sales where customers will be able to discover all kinds of kitchens, smart storage solutions, built-in cabinets and mattresses. Unlike in its other stores, there will be no items for sale.
