The Government is working to publish the rental price index in July, according to sources at the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda.
Specifically, it is developing a tool that will allow us to see the evolution of prices and to detect exorbitant price increases, in addition to serving as a support for fiscal measures. “This index will provide reliability and robustness” to the rental market, since “it will allow the use of census data, and not just surveys,” explained José Luis Ábalos, the Minister for Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.
