The Vice President and Minister for Economic Affairs, Nadia Calviño, announced on Monday that families affected by the pandemic will be able to request a three-month moratorium on the payment of their mortgage or consumer loan until the end of March.
So far, around 600,000 people have benefited from this measure, which has been adopted to alleviate the effects of Covid. It allows borrowers to avoid paying the bulk of the loan payments for at least three months, according to Efe.
