In June, Amazon announced the opening of a new logistics centre in Alcalá de Henares, the company’s second in the Community of Madrid, where it also operates in San Fernando.
The warehouse is located on the El Encín industrial estate, just 30 kilometres from the centre of the capital. The asset, which is due to open its doors in the autumn, is owned by the German fund Patrizia, which has commissioned the consultancy JLL to organise its sale. Currently, the process is in the phase of the submission of non-binding offers, according to El Confidencial.
