The Gap Between Supply and Demand in the Rental Sector Increases, According to pisos.com

The most-searched-for home by users of the platform costs 450 euros per month and spans 70 square metres, down by 10 square metres compared to last year.

Pisos.com has published a report entitled “Supply and demand 2020”, which reveals that the gap between supply and demand in the rental market has increased. The gap stands at 42% with an annual difference between landlords and tenants of 2,292 euros per year.

And it is that difference, between homeowner and home seeker, that increased last year. The monthly gap now stands at 191 euros, which is 18 euros higher than it was in 2019. According to the real estate portal, this means future tenants will have to settle for smaller apartments.
