The Swedish investment fund EQT, which acquired 80% of Idealista’s real estate portal for 1,321 million euros in September, has also purchased the Colisée group, the fourth largest manager of nursing homes in Europe, with an extensive presence in Spain.
Colisée is of French origin but is owned by the Norwegian fund IK Investment Partners. It manages 49 centres for the elderly in Spain, with just over 5,800 beds, making it the seventh most important group in the country by number of beds managed, according to InfoLibre.
