The average price of a rental property in Spain stands at 10.1 euros per m2 per month, which represents a decrease of 1.9% in interannual terms. In addition, in quarterly terms, prices have fallen by 1%, according to data from the real estate big data platform Brains Real Estate.
If we focus on the large regional capital cities in Spain, that is, those that have at least 250,000 inhabitants, we see that rental prices in municipalities such as Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao exceed 12.5 euros per m2 per month, whilst those in others such as Córdoba, Valladolid and Murcia amount to less than 7.5 euros per m2 per month.
