The Court of Instruction number 21 of Madrid has admitted for processing a lawsuit that affects two senior executives of Värde Partners, the owner of the largest housing platform in the country, and of La Finca.
The lawsuit has been filed by José Juan Martín and Javier Gómez, the founders of Aelca, a company that was bought by Värde Partners in 2016. Following the acquisition, the two partners, who were left with a 10% stake in Aelca’s share capital, became advisers to the fund in order to channel real estate investments in Spain jointly through the company Lealtad Directorship, according to El Confidencial.
