Although no official statistics have been released about house prices or transactions since January, hardly any sales have been recorded since 15 March, according to the Real Estate Agents’ Association (APIs). “Commercial activity has been paralysed and although notaries and registrars are allowed to carry out urgent transactions, the fear of contagion has also caused them to stall,” explain sources speaking to Brainsre.news.

Fotocasa’s Director of Research and Training, Ismael Kardoudi, goes even further, noting that “it is possible that, from March onwards, we will see decreases of 60% or more, lasting for several months”.
